The first thing to hit you with the 3060 is the incredible amount of light that pours into
the cabin, thanks to large foredeck and side deck windows, a signature of Regal?s
Window Express models.
Two 3060 cabin layouts exist for two different styles of
boating. The standard layout features a V-berth seating arrangement and a queensize
mid-cabin berth.
This layout best suits the buyer who entertains in the cabin but
rarely sleeps more than two aboard.
An alternative choice is the FlexPlan layout,
which offers a fixed forward berth and a U-shaped convertible dinette. The FlexPlan is
tailored to the family who lives to stay aboard overnight and needs a spot for four or
six.
This proprietary FlexPlan feature gives owners the choice to find the right fit for
interior space, sensibly.
A layout option is the first of many personal touches owners make with the 3060.
New for 2009 is a choice between four designer fabric selections: Tuscan Marble,
Hampton Deep Blue, Peruvian Latte and Egyptian Spice. One of five Corian
countertop selections completes the color pallete. With so many personal touches,
each 3060 is destined to be as individual as the owner.
Regal?s unique cockpit forward seating was created to provide a more social
atmosphere when cruising; five can sit in the crescent-shaped seating within eye and
earshot of the helmsman.
Insert the teak cockpit table or filler cushion to add to the
occasion. The large refreshment center takes care of everyone aboard, particularly
with the optional refrigerator. Should the need arise for a little more room in the
cockpit, the aft bench seat folds away. Access to the foredeck is safe and easy with
the windshield walk-thru, a place sure to be visited often with the optional Sunbrella
sun pad.
When it comes time to bring the standard 5.0 Volvo Pentas with 540 hp to life, the
3060 responds beautifully, using its proprietary OceanTrac hull. With an 18-degree
deadrise and longitudinal lifting strakes, the 3060 achieves a running balance like few
boats can, remaining stable through turns and no listing in quartering seas.
Sure, all cruisers can get you there. Some just do it a lot more sensibly.
